東京ホルン倶楽部の委嘱として2004年に作曲。
初演は、東京ホルン倶楽部が解散したため、スペインのヴァレンシアで行われた国際ホルンフェスティヴァルにて、東京藝術大学ホルンアンサンブルにより行われた。
ホルンのアンサンブルで、梵鐘などの日本の「祈り」を表現。技術的には、難易度がとても高い作品。

Composed in 2004 upon commission by the Tokyo Horn Club, this work was premiered by the Horn Ensemble of Tokyo University of the Arts at the International Horn Festival in Valencia, Spain, following the disbandment of the Tokyo Horn Club.
The piece is scored for horn ensemble and expresses the theme of “prayer” inspired by Japanese instruments such as the bonshō (temple bell). Technically, it is a highly demanding composition.
